you always pay for what you get with these animals true cbb chondros can be found from 350 - 5,000 USD.

Thanks, I guess for my first one I don't want to go spend thousands yet I just don't want to spend a couple hundred dollars you know what I mean?
I am looking for a good breeder to, any suggestions from people on here would be awesome. |

I would say the prices you have listed is a very good price for a sub-adult or adult chondro at the entry level. You can find CBB babies in the $350-500 range from good breeders. I wouldn't recommend a neonate as your first chondro because they are a little less forgiving than a chondro that is a year or more of age.
Keep your eyes open on our classifieds. We only allow captive born and bred chondros to be listed so you're a little less likely to run into trouble looking there. Any good breeder will be willing to answer any of your questions and provide after purchase support. |

Typically, 12-24 months old is called a "yearling" and 24 months up until maturity is considered "sub-adult". |
