So,
I know that my snake hasnt pooped since Dec 2nd. it has eaten 3 meals since then. Is this normal? should I not feed him again until he goes? He has peed on me a few times while ive had to hold him and jam meds down its throat, but thats it. |

How old is this snake and how large are the meals? Babies tend to go at least once a week, sometimes more. My adults go every month...or two. Depends upon how often I feed and how large the prey item is.

the snake is still a baby, and is still red. im feeding it pinky mice.

Place the animal under a luk warm shower just before light's out.
whatever you do don't have the pressure too high ( you might blast it off it's perch or just freak it out ! ) this normally work's for me if i think they have gone to long. it's the same as large Biod's and Monitors have a soak and relieving them selves in a water bowl.

Handle that baby it works for me EVERY time ,if it don't crap on ya it'll crap in the cage by next a.m. ,the warm misting thing works pretty good
too.

when I had babies, they rarely poop. I think its because they actually absorb most of the food item to grow... I don't think its a problem. But if you are
worried, do what molurusx said and give it luk warm shower before lights out, works (almost) everytime. I have a adult male GTP that hasn't gone in the
past two months, and has eaten almost every week. But he looks like he is about to go tho... (it's gonna be fun cleaning up, ewwwww)..

Malice,
I told you to watch the animals hydration whilemedicating, worming and acclimating. smaller meals will take a while to pass but my babies poop every 3 to 4 days from thier 1st meal until they are about 6 to 8 months old from there they drop back to about weekly defication cycles. Best of luck. Greg
