I am shopping around to see what people have available, and I am new to buying a GTP online. Just wondering if there are anything things to watch out for
in buying online through one of these forums.
Thank for any advice!!!!

Check around these forums for breeders.......there are MANY to choose from. Try to avoid brokers and dealers even if the price is "more affordable".
MOST of these are captive hatched imports and the cost usually ends up being the same or more in the end. Don't just settle for what's available
right now. There are many clutches coming up in the future and lots of exciting things will become available......be patient. Find a dedicated breeder that
will answer any questions you might have. If I had something for sale right now, I would send you to my website to have a look.......take a peek anyway. Look
in the classifieds on this site and look for documented CBB animals with pics of parents, feeding data, and offer an established animal. Good luck.

Chondroweb and MVF are your 2 best bets. There are tons of animals for sale and from every age and price range.

I agree with everyone's input. I would definitely stick with a reputable breeder who not only takes great care of his/her animals but provides the same level of service afterwards. It is also a big plus if you can find someone in your area willing to let you check out their snake room/facility. There are alot of great folks on both Chondroforum and Morelia Viridis Forum. Like Brandon said, there are lots of great clutches in the very near future. Patience is a virtue...do your research. I highly recommend Greg Maxwell's book found at finegtps.com Where are you located? Good luck, Keith Hamlin |

Thank you everyone for your input, I am located in the San Francisco Bay area. I Know of tooscaley and have talked to him over email, but haven't found any
others in the area.

You aren't limited to the SF area as most all breeders ship nationwide. Go with captive bred and a breeder who can provide conintued support and you'll
find your first experience with gtps can be a very good one.
