Hey everybody!! I just got my dig camera yesterday (NIkon Coolpix 4800) and I am ready to begin photographing the prettiest animals on earth-chondros of course!! But wait-I have a question (well a few actually)-
1) Alot of the pics posted I see have a solid black background- how do you create this impressive matte background to showcase your snakes? Is it real or is it computer generated- if so, how?
2) How do you get the little boogers to sit still- especially during close up macro shots? (I remember reading somewhere that you could stick them in the freezer for a minute to slow them down- but sticking my all important, most favorite possession, my chondro collection, in the freezer disgusts me. Is it really safe to do this-and do any of my fellow chondro friends actually use this method?? Thanks in advance for any input!
