Hi everyone. I am getting set for my first breeding season, so I am in the process of building my own incubator. I am having a little trouble finding an outlet for heating devices for incubators. Could you offer a brand, site, or explain what you feel is the best way to heat an incubator. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, Ray. I am currently using a Pro Products heat panel in my incubator. Although this year will be my first "real" attempt at breeding, I have tested my incubator for several months with consistant temps. You may also want to try heat tape (this seems to be the more popular choice). I'm sure there are several places you can get this but only one comes to mind at the moment (Big Apple Herps). Hey,
If you're not a handy man, than I'd say keep it simple. Work with what is easiest and the least complicated. I would use Flexwatt and taylor the length and the width of the Flexwatt to the dimensions of the incubator in question (to be). -Angel Chondros are next to godliness!!
