when i had my boas/balls throughout the years i would inspect their mouths for any abnormalties every few months...are chondros mouths more delicate so as not to be probed?.or does it depend on the age of the animal etc....?

I wouldn't inspect the inside of my chondros mouths unless I thought there was a problem. I have never inspected the inside of the mouths on any of my snakes unless there was a problem. I don't see the need. If you notice excess mucus, swelling, or their mouth not closing correctly, then I might inspect their mouth. Better yet, if you suspect a problem, take it to your vet. Their teeth can break easily and it's a very stressful procedure.
