First, 2 weeks is not a long time to go without eating, especially if it was shipped. Second, I advised feeding it in its enclosure and not in a deli cup, certainly not in a paper bag. I have heard of that feeding method for corns and unfortunately, some people still think all snakes are the same.

How old is the animal and what are you keeping it in? What are the temps and how are you maintaining them? Pics of its setup would be helpful. It may just need time to settle in its new home.

The more information you can provide about its setup, its age, its sex (if known), where you purchased it, and what it was eating before you purchased it would be very helpful in assisting you. Also, when are you attempting to feed?

I am guessing the animal is farmed bred import (nothing necessarily wrong with that). I would advise a much simpler setup such as a 12 qt. tub. Here is a link that provides instructions for this.

You will need a thermostat for this but it appears you could use a thermostat anyway. Temps should be around 86-88 on the warm end, dropping to 78-80 on the cool end (ideally). It should be able to move from one temp range to another along the perch. You want to add perches with a width equal to the diameter of the animal. That peice of wood isn't practical. Go with an enclosure that meets the animal's needs, not necessarily something pretty to look at.

The glass aquarium may be stressing it out and the screen lid makes maintaining the appropriate heat and humidity very difficult. Opinions vary as you soon will see, but my first move would be to find out what the seller was keeping it in and feeding it, and do the same. Again, its too early to be concerned in my opinion. Try feeding it several hours after lights out and make sure it has a large (not necessarily deep) water bowl and continue misting, especially in the evenings, if it appears to be drinking the water droplets. As you may have read in other threads, you may need to torment it to get it to eat. Try rubbing or tapping the snake behind its head with the pinky. It may shy away but keep it up for a minute or two. At this age, based on the pic, it may not be an established eater, meaning it may not readily take the food item by just sticking it in front of it. Going to need to pester it a bit. To avoid stressing it too much, if after several minutes of pestering, it still doesnt take it, wait several days, or even a week before trying again.
