I have two Aru's that I paired up in Feb. They copulated thru the first week of march. I am sure she got to the point of developing follicles. However, I had an unfortunate outbreak of mites when my kids brought in a wild Iguana. I treated for the mites and I thought she reabsorbed the follicles as I never saw her ovulate. She shed on April 12 and now is going into shed again on June 14. I have been told that they will shed pre-ovulation and pre-egg lay. She seems to have solid lumps at lower end of her body and is somewhat swollen but not greatly.
What is your opinion? Could I have missed the ovulation ( I checked at least once or twice daily). She seems to be gravid.
