Can anybody answer this please, I have the book "The More Complete Chondro", fantastic book, but totaly confused, havent seen ovulation swelling, she
still eats, smaller meals I may add. and is putting on girth in a big way, and last monday night she was outstretched along the perch virtualy all night. Can
anybody explain this pls

According to Greg's book, the time can vary greatly, but once they are off food during follicle development, it's anywhere from 10 days to a month
before you're likely to see an ovulation. Females usually sit pretty quietly when follicles start to develop. They'll start to bask under the heat and
may taper off food slowly rather than going off suddenly. You mentioned that she's taking smaller meals. Do you mean that she's eating a smaller rodent
or that she's eating fewer numbers of rodents during a feeding? If she's starting to eat less then this might be good news for you in the next few
weeks. She may still act like she's hungry but refuse to eat. She must go off food and develop follicles before you will see an ovulation. Keep us posted!

She is takin the same amount but smaller size than usual, if i offer her regular size then she is not interested, the male is no longer interested in her
either, yet her girth is growing and she is defacating regularly. she moves occasoinally to a warmer spot, and her temprement has changed as well. She is
usually docile, but recently has become very irritable.
