Ok, I am aware that GTPs sometimes have a little wheeze before a shed. However last night my young biak "Tonks" was coughing and wheezing!!! I
thought that is no preshed symptom for sure. So today when I look in her encloser sure enough she is in shed! And not making any noises at all. So I drive 50
miles to a vet. I end up bringing both of my GTPs because my male was wheezing also so I thought mabye the both have URI. She checks out my adult male just
fine and says he sounds healthy. She looks in his mouth and dosent find anything unusual. Then when I tell her about the nippy biak she dosent even touch it...
Didnt even touch it!! But yet I get charged 32 for a visual inspection.... LAME. She gave me some Baytril and sent me home. First, does anyone else on the
planet have a GTP that wheezes VERY noticeably? I just dont know when its URI or preshed.. O yeah when I asked her to sex the biak (because its suppose to be a
female but the seller was pretty dumb) (Also my fault for trusting a complete idiot) she said it requires anesthesia! LOL wow. Thats so dumb.
