My previous post was obviously the female ripening her follicles. I thought she was going to explode when I saw her ovulating.
Hopefully I should have eggs soon.
Thanks for looking.

Awesome news! I just had one ovulate the first weekend in March. Must be something in the air. I know you're excited!

Thanks Kim; yep Im really excited. I dont seem to find many people on the various forums I read that let their snakes incubate the eggs. Have you ever tried
this method Kim? Having read Gregs book I would really like to give it a go. Any thoughts or shared experience would be grateful. Stephen

stephen,
beautiful female you have there. id suggest artificial incubation rather than maternal. That seems to take too much out of a female. just my .02 cents. sony Sony Raju

I haven't gone artificial but I would like to at some point. I probably would have let Sissy give it a go this year if she hadn't faked me out. I
think it would be pretty incredible to see babies coming out of her coils on day 49. Are you definitely going to give it a try?

Im really wanting to give Maternal a go Kim. Ive not heard from any one in the UK who has tried to do it. Gregs book makes me confident that its the best route
for me; my girl had plenty of weight on her before mating and im in no hurry to mate her again. Im confident in the perfomrance of the viv in terms of temps
and humidity so yes I think I'm going to give it a go. I'll have an incubator ready in case she doesnt stay with the eggs or there are some bad slugs.
Like you I think it will be really exciting and rather lovely to watch. Any advice from any one would be welcome.
