Any help/advice appreciated.

I cut up a small portion of a tablet into VERY fine pieces, then dab the prey item into those pieces. "Coating" it if you will. The generic name for the drug is Metronidozole if I'm not mistaken on the spelling. Animals and even people suffering from conditions not associated with bacteria or viruses, with associated diarrhea and foul smelling and sometimes, slimy watery stools, are usually treated with the drug. Dogs suffer commonly with Girardia in my neighborhood in Williamsburg BK, and they are prescribed Met. Angel Chondros are next to godliness!!

We find that it does successfully stimulate appetite in many of our patients. Best wishes getting your Merauke back on track.

I had thought that the appetite "stimulation" was actually because the Flagyl removed the unicellular gastro parasites that were causing pathology. In other words, that the appetite wasn't stimulated, but rather the origin of the anorexia was removed. Bigsnakes, had the snakes successfully treated for anorexia with Flagyl been already checked for parasites (Entameoba, flagellates, etc.)?
