Hi everyone,
I just wanted to ask your advice on panacur doseage.I have a tube of 25 gram paste of the Intervet brand. It is a thick paste and very difficult to get in a syringe. The only way is to add water. This leads up to my question. Is dilluting it with water the correct way to do it.Also, the vet gave me a vile for a previous incident and it was alot more watery and very easy to suck up into the syringe. She told me the stuff I have is a lot stronger than she has.She told me to be careful because the stuff I have is alot stronger of a dose. Her stuff is measured as 100mg/ml and my stuff is measured as 100mg/g.I am very illiterate when it comes to formulas like this. Can you help me get a better idea of what to do.Or is there a better brand well suited for the application.Any help is appreciated.
I heard of people injecting it into f/t prey.It is ingested as the snake digests the prey.Is that a good idea.If so than I can probably use the paste I got,but in the correct dose.I heard mixed thoughts on doing it that way.
Thanks much,
Bill Z.
