hey ther folks,been atta here for months.....I have a few questions concerning a chondro at a local"pet"store.they said they got him/her from Universal Reptiles....never heard of it.....this poor kid was in bad shape.Dry shed like you wouldnt beleive...among other things.....they kept the animal in a 20 gal aquarium.......no overnight heat....seriously.....with only a large tree trunk looking thing in the middle of the cage.Anyway....back to the shed........he/she was bad.....had flaps yes i said flaps of dry shed on the uppermost parts of its body.I made them soak it overnight.....nuttin.....soaked him another night and went in and helped get it off.this thing was a teror before I got his shed fixed...it would strike at the slightest movement and just go nuts when his "cage" was opened.....anyway....after I got his shed off i went in a couple days later and reached roght in his cage a pcked him up.....slowly and gently of course but he acted fine....not even a hint of a strike...they said....wow.....you tamed him.....i swear I about punched them.......anyway.....less then a week after i cleaned his shed off he shed again...is this normal?.....his feces looks odd as well....runny urates and greenish feces.......btw,while he was trying to shed....they had a live mouse in its cage....this was a baby folks.....with an adult mouse...........anyway....I raised so much hell about theyre animals they had all the reptile cages cleaned out and reconfigured in less then 6 hours.....lol....I have alot of bad stories about this "pet" store
