I recently had a power outage from a storm that I didn't realize until it had cooled down the house. My eggs, that are due to hatch February 26th, dropped
to 64 degrees. I think the power went out around midnight to 3am, and I awoke at 6:45 am. I immediately took them to my parents house which was 2 miles away.
By the time they were plugged back in it was 62 degrees in the nest box. they were heated back to 87 within a few hours.
Does anyone have any good words from experience that this will not hurt them? Or am I doomed for birth defects or even worse, dead eggs?
