When you register as a member of the ChondroForums, you are assigned a user name and password that you select. After activating your account, you will automatically be logged in to the Forums under your user name. (For more about registering an account, see the post "How to register as a chondroforum user.) You will see the words "logged in as" plus your user name, in the upper right corner of the forum. All your posts will then bear your user name. If you have the "cookies" file enabled on your computer, your machine will "remember" your name and password any time you activate the forums. If not, you will need to log in, using your user name and password.
If you are traveling and wish to post on the forums, you can log in from any machine by clicking the login link located under the list of moderator names at the top left of the forum. Type in your user name and password, and you will be logged in and ready to go. If you are visiting the home of another registered user and wish to post under your own name, log out using the logout link, then log in using the directions above. This takes a matter of seconds to perform.
