hey there
I have 2 year old sorung that I recently took to the vet about 3 1/2 weeks ago for a bacteria infection in her mouth
. the vet is a well known for working with exotics{snakes,tigers,monkeys,ect..}
He instructed me to inject baydril in my snakes mouth every 3 day for a month.
I know about it being necrosis,so i'm very worried about my snake.
k let me start with that i pay alot of attention to my gtps and spend hours just staring at them as they are in my computer room /bedroom.
i notice that my surong had her mouth open just a bit so i listen to hear any noises that she could be making ie. RI,mouth rot ..ect and there was some crackaling
I immediately took her to the vet!
he then told me about the bacteria infecton, baydril and how to apply it.
{he never mention it could harm my snake or the name of the bacteria }
.about 2 week in she started shedding and has been having a really bad dry shed even thou i been keeping an i on her and making sure everything perfect!.Since then her mouth has closed and i don;t really hear any crackaling or weezing, just loud hisses like she use 2. I have been putting her through alot of stress due to picking her up, giving her med, .ect and i'm not sure if i should do the sweater box method used by Greg Maxwell in his book?
does this sound like shes recovering?
Has any one had any kind of experiances like this?
when is a good time to try to start feeding again?
I'm very concerned about her and i want her to be to normal asap.
