I just bought this Chondro about 3 weeks ago from a buddy of mine and he kept no records. I also have only owned Chondros for about 6 months so I am not sure. Someone please tell me this looks like female ovulation.

ovulation is usually more diffuse over a greater length of the body. that lump seems to be more acute. hard to tell though from just a picture. if your snake is still eating, i would say it is not ovulation, as most have noted chondros tend to go off feed a month or so before ovulating.

I have had her for about 3 or 4 weeks and she has refused food on three occasions, whereas she was feeding enormously before. Her last meal was about 4 1/2 weeks ago. She didn't look most ovulation pics I've seen, but the pic also didn't show just how swollen she was since she was hanging to the back. Today, she is hanging like I have never seen a Chondro hang. Her head is below the branch and thru her loops. Pretty odd. By the way I do know that she was copulating a while back, but like I said, my buddy kept no records and he is unsure on when. I'll just keep my fingers crossed and be ready anyway.
Thanks for the replies. I really appreciate it. Bob |
