I think we all go through a similar predicament when it comes to purchasing our first few chondros, i use to have a small collection of 5 neonates many years ago when i first was bitten by the chondro bug they were actually a present from a good friend of mine, i thought at the time i had done all the research in to these guys this was before gregs book and also before i had found this forum, all my research was done online via different websites i found in many cases these site were giving conflicing information, also the books at the time were not very informative so i made a few mistakes and i paid by losing one of my little guys and after that i was constantly worrying that i was doing something wrong and would panic at the slightest little thing (well i still do now...lol) due to personal problems at the time i had to sell up which was abosuletly gutting as i personally think that there is nothing more special then growing on a neonate, watching them grow and the first sign of that first green scale any way ill shut up waffling....lol, Well anyway my point is i have just got back in to chondros myself and i to was unsure wether to opt for an adult or a neonate but i was looking more toward a display animal which would be housed in my front room and with 2 young kids, screaming wife and the tele blasting out 24 hrs a day the only option i think i was left with was an older animal, lucky for me i think i found the rasta of all chondros, so laid back, more chilled then a block of ice!! the guy i purchased this boy from had in total 48 chondros and they had been housing them in the Exo Terra Glass Terrarium there cheap, hold the temps and the humidity perfectly and look awesome as a display...anyway i doubt if this has offered you any answers to your questions...lol but if anyone in the UK has a rasta female availiable then please contact me as maybe i can start a new line of chondros
