Found this slimy yellow stuff beneath my 5-year old male Aru this morning:
That's only one little bit of it, on a piece of cypress bark. I threw out the rest. There was not much odor (we had to sniff it up close...there was
no odor at all in the cage), and it did not smell like waste. I'll be blunt: it smelled like semen. The fact that it's yellow has me thrown off.
The picture was taken about 15 minutes after I removed it from his cage, so it had dried out a bit. It originally looked like mustard.
Has anyone seen this stuff before?
