The details for cycling are very plainly explained in Greg Maxwell's book "The Complete Chondro". It also has a wealth of information in almost every aspect of keeping chondros. His new book either just came out or is due out shortly called the More Complete Chondro. He has a link to buying it here in the forum.

I am attempting to breed mine for the first time this year and my pair are copulating at the moment.
I just basically got my female to a reasonable weight (approx 1200g) and made sure my male was fed ok but not too fat. I then gradually reduced the night tems from 88F to 68-70F (2F drop every other night), but kept the day temps slightly reduced (86F). I have also increased the spraying from every other day to every day just before the lights go out. This seems to be what most people do and hopefully it will work for me this year. Hope this helps Ryan www.chondros.co.uk |

Ryan, that is exactly how I cycle as well and I am also having success. Last year my female didn't ovulate, but I believe she was too small yet. See what happens this year. She is still a little small at 900g.
