OMG Kim… you have a fantastic looking Rack I mean its even on both sides… and those tubs are huge! lol For real though that thing looks Mac Daddy! Looks like the chondros are enjoying it too!

Thanks guys. I've been meaning to purchase some polycarbonates, but my luck breeding has left me dragging my feet. I will check out all those sources mentioned.

I bought my containers from galasource.com but their prices have gone way up from what I paid for them. I found them on samsclub.com for a pretty good price as well. You might also check and see if you have a local restaurant supply store near your house and compare their prices to the online price....

When I ordered my baby rack from HS they had me order the tubs directly from www.restaurantsource.com and said that was the best online pricing they had found. By ordering direct the shipping fees for the tubs would only have to be paid once.

There are other sources, just check out Cambro and Rubbermaid polycarbonate food storage pans on google. Some places carry sizes that others don't.

What a beautiful rack you have Kim! Seriously though, I couldn't be happier with my Habitat Systems incubator. The people at HS have great customer service; very friendly folks. If cost is not a concern, HS is the way to go...

Where did you end up getting those racks for such a great price? (Been thinking about getting some myself.)

*lol* He looked goofy is all the pictures I took of him in front of the rack. He's a ham in front of the camera but he wasn't feeling so well that day (eaten something he shouldn't have - not a snake!).

We have a house alarm but I find he's a great deterrent. I think you should come by and test him out... We always make sure he's on his best behavior when wanted guests are around.

Jack & Frank, those are Rubbermaid 3304 5-gallon polycarbonate containers. So far, I like them a lot more than my regular plastic containers. They don't hold smell and won't stain. They were worth the extra cost.

Habitat Systems will sell you the containers with the rack but they are significantly more expensive they what I could find them for on my own. I found them on sale and bought them all (24) for $99 shipped.

Kim, it's an awesome set up!! I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll need to add that baby rack soon. I'm going to have to take a look at the yearling size for next year I'm hoping.

What are you usin for water dishes in those thubs now?

No, not THAT kind of rack...a SNAKE rack.

I took the plunge and ordered a Habitat Systems rack for my yearlings that are outgrowing my baby rack. It's also temporarily the home of a few '05 offspring that have to wait for their adult cages until after we move this summer. I can't say enough good things about HS customer service. I thought I was going to have to wait until June...
