Paparika has grown and seems just as amazing as ever. Yesterday she allowed me to take some yawning pics of her

The yellow hue on the bottom left(her right) jaw strikes me as concerning. Same goes for the black portion in the back.

I haven't seen too many GTP's yawning so I can't really judge.

Do you think this is a beginning of a mouth-rot?

Thanks in advance for your help

Okay so... after a thorough check up by my friend we both reached the conclusion that she is healthy as she can be.
The mouth rot disappeared leaving no traces what so ever.
Also, she passed the 100 grams mark and was probed- it's a female!!!!!! I am so happy about that!!
That means that in 3-4 years I will be trying to breed her. Naturally, I am taking my sweet time with it. It has only been accomplished -once- in Israel. So I
imagine it's not the easiest thing to...

I don't like using peroxide, especially undiluted, as it's very toxic to healthy tissue. If you use it, you should dilute it. It's also very toxic
if it should be accidently ingested. I like using novalsan (chlorhexidine) instead as it's safe to use on the tissue of even delicate places like the
mouth. Glad yours is getting better though.

I have been keeping snakes for around a year, and taking on a GTP was a major step-up for me. Getting all the positive input from you guys sure gives a boost

At any rate no biggie. I do believe that a major progress was made during the past two days. I will continue the treatment for the following 5 days or so
though.

And thank you for the kind words on the photos, I like them too. She is an amazing little snake

It looks like it might be mouth rot to me as well. It has the cheesy look to it. I think you're doing the right thing by treating as such. The black
part is perfectly normal. The first time I saw the inside of a chondro mouth I was surprised to see black as well. Are the rodents you used kept on aspen?
If so, that's possibly how it got there. I assume you don't use it as substrate because it is terrible for humid environments.
By the way, cool wide mouth photos!...

I have a friend who has been keeping Chondros for a good while now, he has 7 in total and he agreed that this is how Mouthrot looks like at it's very
beginning.
She had a swab of aspen in her mouth prior to me taking the pictures. I am not sure how it got there, but it did. I think that aspen piece punctured her gum
tissue and allowed bacteria to spread.

At any rate as per his advice I am washing the area with a swab dipped in Hydrogen Peroxide twice a day. I am handling...

Hmmm.... Its hard to tell just by those pictures. It couldn't possible be a small shed piece of skin stuck
to the tooth? Again I Cannot tell just from the picture. Did the animal eat recently? Check your food source. If you do not feel comfortable with handling your
snake, try to find an experienced snake handler who can help you take another look. A reptile VET should always be in consideration if you are uncertain of any
health issues....
