I'm honestly not sure what that stuff is called but it's the plastic grids that are used to cover large fluorescent lights in ceilings. We commonly have them in offices. I found a large sheet of it at my local hardware supply store. It may be called a light louver like on this link: louver

can someone please tell me what the white plastic grating you all sit your eggs on is called and where might be best to get it? i'm in the uk. cheers

The egg with black tidal bar was piped this morning. I manually pipped the rest of the clutch. As I predicted it is a 100% yellow clutch. Unfortunately, it looks like I may have one full term dead in the egg neonate.

Thanks! I hope all turns out well with your eggs. I leave the eggs in the egg box until they start to pip, then I move them to the hatch box. The bottom of the hatch box has egg crate on top of wet paper towels.

I'm wishing you luck, because mine are right behind yours. My day 49 will be the 26th, so I went ahead and put mine in the hatch box as well. Does your hatch box have any actual water in the bottom or just the egg crate?
