			<description><![CDATA[ That's very sad news.  Have you found a vet nearby in case you have an emergency like this in the future?  I sure hope so.<br><br>Danny, my female stopped breathing about 15mins after she lost consciousness.  We had her intubated and were drawing off air with a syringe from her lower abdominal region as she swelled with each assisted breath.  I don't think I hole in her would have allowed her to breath.  Someone else will have to explain lung pressures because I'm not sure about that... ]]></description>

Something like when human's air passage is blocked and you slit a hole at the bottom of the throat and stick a pen in to allow breathing...? 			<description><![CDATA[ Hio everyone,<br>Sadly, she perished.She blew up even more.Looks like she had air pumped into her.I'm going to freeze the body with hope of having an autopsy done to see what the cause was.Hopefully,I will be able to get an answer on the cause to be aware of what may have cused this problem.She will be missed.She was the second chondro I lost.It isn't a good feeling when you lose a chondro.<br><br>Thanks for all of your concerns and help.<br><br>Bill Z. ]]></description>

As usual, with reptiles, there always seems to be more questions than answers when something like this happens.<br><br>My girl had been treated for an RI many months before she relapsed one weekend. 			<description><![CDATA[ Wow, that picture brings back horrible, horrible memories.  Unfortunately, I HAVE seen this sort of thing before because it happened to one of my females.  She had a puncture in the tip of her lung from an unknown cause.  Necropsy later showed that she did have a spot of pneumonia.  Odds are that she coughed and that very fragile lung wall (or possibly her air sac) has burst.  Is she conscious?  My female lost consciousness within 30 seconds of the air escaping under her skin and into her... ]]></description>
