Some great suggestions!! I will add my 2 cents:
Your baby is looks too young for a seasonal fast....Did he eat for you a month ago? What did he eat, and are you offering the same item? (ie live vs frozen/mouse vs rat).
When are you feeding? I have some animals that will eat whenever food is near, and some that are strictly night (dark, no lights) feeders.
Are you 'pestering' him with food?
I'm not entirely sure how long it will take for its tooth to regrow. Since it is a baby, I'm sure it'll regrow in no time. Meanwhile, try not to disturb your chondro often. Cover up some open sides, or put out more foilage/hiding spots, or put the enclosure somewhere with less movement so your chondro wouldn't be stressed. Best of luck with your new baby!
ChondroHead
Danny
4.3.1 GTPs
and 11 other reptiles...
Addicted doesn't even begin to describe me......

Oh yea, since this is your first Chondro... don't handle babies that often, they will get stressed easily. And when handling them, they are not like ground snakes so don't try to keep them moving, they will usually latch on and once they feel safe, they'll explore (or run away).
ChondroHead
Danny
4.3.1 GTPs
and 11 other reptiles...
Addicted doesn't even begin to describe me...
STEVE IRWIN RULES!

A month isn't that bad for a baby Biak. Wait a few days and try again.
Another thing is that your enclosure is very open and that may not feel safe. Try adding more foilage in your tank or cover the sides of the tank with background paper (or news paper). A baby needs to feel SAFE espically when feeding. Next time, once he bites his food item, leave him alone (so that he can't see you or any movement in his sights). And come back in fifteen minutes to check on him.
Babies sometimes...

I don't think this is a problem. Chondros can go six (sometimes more) months without food. Is your Chondro a male? How old is he if it is a he? Males are known for fasting for six months.
As for the fallen tooth, as long as there isn't signs of mouth rot or infection, you should be ok. My chondros have struck me and left their teeth in me and it never really bother them (but it did bother me tho).
