No offense taken, Julian. I didn't mean for it to sound that way. I'm expecting my first clutch (Aru). So I am not the most experienced. As such, I appreciate all input, be it positive or constructive.

Are you gonna go to Daytona this weekend? Only four hour drive for me so I'll be up there Sunday.
Julian,
I agree with you about the high yellow pairing. My female Biak just wasn't ready yet. Next year I'll pair him up with her(she has got quite a bit of yellow)
You may be right about the Sorong have the dominant genes, but then again noone really knows about the Canaries yet...
Only time will tell.

Bob

Personally i would have done a Canary x High Yellow or (true) Blue. I (personally) think that the majority of the offspring will be green due to other "Jaya" crosses proving the "Jaya" color to be the more dominant.

However, they are chondros so anything could happen and I would not be surpised if you hached out a pink chondro.
Julian Garcia
Chondro's Exquisite
<a href="http://www.juliangarcia.com"...

Julian,
They are very difficult to get a good look at. But I am sure they had at least one copulation earlier this week, and at least 5 possibles in the past two weeks. The male(canary) has gone off feed which for him is substantial. This boy would eat 7 days a week if I would give it to him. I'm hoping.... I'll try to get better pictures.

Bob
