In the post 9/11 world this data has gotten more difficult because it needs to be correlated (used to be single source) but there are several sources for it. Like all estimates it is an estimate, but close enough for discussion purposes (+/- 10%) These are my sources:

Been chatting with a number of long time reptile breeders I know and sharing my opinion on parent pics recently. Bascially I think they are almost deceptive because among reptiles there isn't another python where the child has less chance of looking like the parents than GTP's. Same thing is true in terms of looking like each other on sibling pics - vs the common "clones" in breeding many other types of reptiles.
