Baby GTP in Canada

this is my 1st post, i am looking for a baby chondro here in toronto, ontario. looking to spend bout 400-450 but so far i havent been able to find any. if u have any info, links to any canadian breeders, or any contacts that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there! So I just bought my first chondro yesterday and this is one of my first stops in my new journey into snake keeping. I have a couple of corn snakes, a Brazilian rainbow, and a ball python, but I wanted something more challenging. I have been doing some research, and have barely been able to tear myself away from The More Complete Chondro for the past twenty four hours. I know enough to know that having a chondro will be a lot more of a challenge than the snakes that I have been used...

I just got a male GTP bout a month ago (the seller told me it's biak) bout 8 months old

My chondro experienced a prolapse yesterday and i tired to get the swelling down with sugar and peperation H and niegher seems to work.... anyone have experience with a vet in the michigan detroit area, i live in sterling heights.

i,m gerry 20 years old and i live in the netherlands

im keeping snakes for 3 years now and have a collection of 30 snakes now

i have
2 burmese pythons
3 morelia spilota variegata\irian jaya
2 morelia bredli
2 ball pythons
a russian rat snake
a boa ci

and the rest are corn snakes in all sort of colors and patterns

and since last sunday i finally bought myself a chondro
it...

this is weird,I'm like...back and stuff

hey ther folks,been atta here for months.....I have a few questions concerning a chondro at a local"pet"store.they said they got him/her from Universal Reptiles....never heard of it.....this poor kid was in bad shape.Dry shed like you wouldnt beleive...among other things.....they kept the animal in a 20 gal aquarium.......no overnight heat....seriously.....with only a large tree trunk looking thing in the middle of the cage.Anyway....back to the shed........he/she was bad.....had...

So It was feeding day and I gave my chondro its rat which he did not decline as usuall. But after an hour still wrapped around it, i notice that the snake was rubbing its head and starting to shed. I was amazed, i think the funniest thing was he still held the rat as he shed ha.

Ever since Kimberly clued me in to the white balance feature of my camera, I've been itching for a good day to shoot pics. I finally got one this weekend, but the snake whose color has been giving me the most trouble - Captain 20 - is in shed. Proper tub size question

Hello all:
I am shopping around and pricing out racks. Most have the option of 6, 20, or 44 quart size tubs. I know the basics of cage sizing as far as neos. But for each size roughly how long will the average GTP be able to be housed in each size? My biggest concern are the larger sizes of 20 and 44, I am wondering if a 20 is large enough for the first couple of years. And while we are discussing it how long do the breeders out there house a neo/yearling in the 6 quart size?

I am really new to Green Tree Pythons (1st one) but have been keeping snakes for about 20 years. As I was soaking up all the information I could as I usually do I became a firm believer in locality GTPs and have a big interest and will base my collection in the future on the localities.

My question is is there a must see or essential website, discussion board or even a book that people with a locality interest must see that I may have missed?
